Miran Sabic was born in 1986 and lives and works in Croatia. Miran works as an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Graphics Art Department in Zagreb. Since 2009, he has exhibited worldwide, showcasing in 27 solo exhibitions and over 130 group exhibitions, with multiple awards. Miran’s artwork is represented in many private, corporate, and museum collections.

In his painting and graphic work, Miran is absorbed in nature, which he observes, memorizes, and records in a meticulous manner. He captures a mountain, a park, or a field with integrated objects, such as a boat, or a children's slide. These are all places and objects from his memory leaving the impression of alienation and absence. In Miran's paintings, we observe detailed depictions of nature painted with thick, layered layers of paint of a moderate tonality, that often grows into a relief appearance.
